Is your child on Santa's Nice List?

What the Nice Meter shows, what moves it, and how Santa tells them.

Come December, a lot of children want to know one thing: am I on the Nice List? With Wonderline there's an answer you can show them. Every child has a Nice Meter, and Santa keeps it up to date with what you tell him.

What the Nice Meter shows

The meter runs from 0 to 100, and each stretch of it has a name a child understands:

  • 90 and up: Top of the Nice List
  • 75 to 89: On the Nice List
  • 60 to 74: Still on the Nice List
  • 40 to 59: Slipping off the Nice List
  • Below 40: On the Naughty List

Every step below the top leaves room to turn things around, so a rough week is never the final word. You'll find the meter on your child's page in the app, ready to hold up and show them.

What moves it

Santa moves the meter when you tell him about the week. Send him the kind moment at the park or the standoff at bedtime, and he decides whether it counts, a few points at a time, and tells your child why in his own words. You can also tap “Tell Santa what happened” on the meter itself. On a paid plan, “Ask Santa to take a look” has him read back over the week's updates and suggest a change.

Let Santa tell them

It means more coming from Santa. Ask him to write your child a note about where they stand, then read it aloud or hand them the phone.

Mia shared her new markers with her little brother without being asked.

Now that is what the Nice List is made of! My elves saw the whole thing, Mia, and your name just moved a little closer to the top. Keep sharing like that.

If it has been a hard week, Santa can be firm. He says what he saw and what needs to change, in a line written for your child to hear.

It locks on Christmas Day

The Nice List freezes on December 25, so “there's still time” means something all season. Until then, every good day counts.
