What comes back
Santa answers in two to four warm sentences, in his own voice, using what you told him and what he remembers from earlier updates. He never lectures, never breaks character, and never says anything you have not seen first.
On a texting plan, Santahas a real phone number. Save it as a contact and the whole conversation happens in your phone’s Messages app, no app to open. US and Canada numbers.

- Chatting with Santa in the app is free for 25 messages, no card required. Yearly plans add the other characters, more messages, Santa's voice, and texting from your own phone.
- Does Santa reply right away?
- Replies usually arrive within a few minutes. They are written to feel composed rather than instant, which is part of the magic when a child is watching the phone.
- Who is actually writing the replies?
- The characters are brought to life with AI, guided by the details you share about your family and checked automatically for safety. You are the only person Santa writes to, and you decide what your child sees.
- Can my child text Santa directly?
